Zinnia Games

Canceled Games

Over the years I have made a lot of game projects. Some of them were just small tests and other curiosities, but some were meant to be something more. This page will catalog the major projects I have worked on. It is possible that I return to some of these projects in the future, but as of currently there are no plans for them.

Skag Malibu

2024-2025

(Internal name: Project Petunia)

A 2D Platformer with a sharp focus on strong gameplay feel.

While I quite like the world and characters I was making for Skag Malibu, the truth is that the gameplay never really found its footing. As a result, after two demos and an attempt at a rebuild I ran out of motivation to continue the game in its current state.

Kagi

2024-2025

pj25_ds_3

(Internal name: Project Jackalope)

A 3D Platformer based on a strong moveset relating to using a hooked weapon to fling yourself off of walls and slopes.

A game that had a very unique and powerful moveset. I also had plenty of plans regarding the game's levels, setting, and story. Definitely a project I would love to return to at some point, but it does share a lot of overlap with Project Plantain unfortunately.

Project Rafflesia

2024

A 2D Platformer with a powerful and very momentum based moveset. Would have been a pretty challenging game.

I really liked this one, but I didn't have the experience at the time to actually see it through.

Project Arnica

2023

A 2D Platformer/RPG hybrid with a world and story I spent far too much time on.

A comically ambitious game for when I made it. In hindsight, there was no chance this project ever got even close to finished. Still it taught me quite a bit during the time I worked on it. Out of all the games here, this is the one I would like to return to the most.
